What's one of the first skateboarding memories that really stuck with you?
The first demo i ever took part in with circus skates, the ORIGINAL with keith whetstone, at the illinois state fair (14 years old)

So how's it skating in the Midwest? Do you think that it's been harder for you to get where you are now than it would've been if you lived on the east or west coast?
I like the skating here. At least we don't have to sit in traffic for an hour to get to a spot, but when it comes to opportunity, California is where it's at.

You recently competed in the Damn Am in Minneapolis for the first time. How was that experience?
Well, I had to graduate the night before the contest, which meant that I had to miss the official practice night. So, I got on a plane at 6 the morning of the contest and arrived roughly an hour before it started. There were 114 skaters in the contest, so getting a run in during practice was pretty much out of the question. So, I kinda made my runs up as I went. I got to skate with the top ams from all over, plus a few pros showed up. So, the overall experience was great.

How many girls were throwing themselves at you after the comp?
The girls were at the contest before I got there, and I was skating in it. I think they raffled all the girls off before i got there or something. Either that, or I just sucked that bad.

So if you had a realistic perfect run for a video part what would it be?
I really like how front blunts look on benches. So, I guess I'd set up two benches for a line. I'd front blunt the first and kickflip backtail 360 shuv out on the second.

What are you looking to accomplish in the near future with skateboarding?
I'm just going to have fun with it. I'll continue competing every chance i get. I'd like to quit skating so many stupid handrails. That'd be an accomplishment, right?

One last question. If you had to choose, teletubbies or boohbahs?
I actually had to look up what the boohbahs were. So, I went to their website, and I now think that they dominate the Teletubbies. Everybody needs to go to their website, and you'll understand. Go now!
