I feel like I’m living in Dubai or something with my internet as slow and spotty as it is–but none the less there is a new Promo/Teaser/Peeper for the new Rise Skateshop video out of Indiana. My internet’s really too slow to download it right now but considering the dudes at Rise are nothing but top notch I can only assume the video is going to be as well–

Well a few thousand year’s ago today, God was born (I think I don’t know alot about religion so don’t hate on me). Then a few thousand years later, somewhere in the early 80’s another baby was born on the same day—to this day the only baby born smoking, drinking and playing grab ass with the nurses - (conflicting sources argue whether is first words were “sup toots” or “it’s chill”.)

This human would be called Michael Munzenrider, known more aptly as Munzy. I think it’s safe to say that anyone who’s had the opportunity of meeting him has had their lives brightened by him–no homo.

So since my phone doesn’t work, here’s an e-shout Munz. Thanks for being alive– Happy Birthday and Merry Christmas. (You too Smash cause I know your probably lurking over his shoulder while he reads this.)

I catch some flak sometimes for just “ghosting” out of parties or some place but sometimes your just over it and want to be out of there. I found these 2 pretty rad sequences of dudes whom just seemed to ghost from skating at one point and haven’t really seen them since (save the random party/get together). Maybe they were over it too…who knows.

This dude Anthony Hart in Minneapolis was/probably still is so good. I always thought the benchmark of having a high ollie was the tennis net, but he figured he might as well do a trick over it.

So I went to the doctor this friday because I thought I was sick…again. I’m not one of those people that wears gas masks and washes their hands incessantly, but people say I have a slight bout of hypochondria (which is argueable). I think at this time last year I had already contracted (and succesfully over come!) Sars, The Mumps, Mad Cow Disease and as ashamed as I am to admit it, I also caught Mono from Benji—while talking with him over the phone (who knew that was even possible!?) Needless to say my doctor told me I needed to chill the fuck out, so what better way to chill than to spend more time in front of my computer chronicling the last month of my life in blog?!?! Don’t tell him I was here..

Also it’s Fausers birthday tonight, he’s 22 ladies, and he’ll be up all night hopped up on Mtn. Dew so hit him up.

And then after my third sunrise in 2 weeks the whole sunrise mystique got real old……

We were skating this spot and this dude was holding back this dog, but the dog was like dragging him barking and freaking out when all the sudden the dude was like “whoa hey hey!” and the dog came tearing after us. I’m scared of dogs, especially pit bulls, especially when they are barking and running at you. Turns out he just wanted to skate and didn’t even have the slightest desire to aquire the taste of human flesh.

Mikey and Chris have been building up quite a portfolio together, Mikey add’s another Tearsheet to his already amazing portfolio.
